  • - The origin of "ancient cypress" -

    All of the wood used for the bathtub and bathroom in the large communal bath is from a giant tree called "ancient cypress," which is over 2 meters in diameter.
    The "Ancient Cypress" that has been revived from ancient times is a 2,000-year-old tree that was born in a deep mountain valley at an altitude of over 2,500 meters. It felled while still standing due to crustal movements and earthquakes.
    Furthermore, the cypress has been sleeping for 150 or 200 years, making it a truly sacred tree, a rare and precious material.
    It will not turn black even when used in a bathtub and is durable enough to last for 20 to 30 years.
    The essential oil extracted from ancient cypress has health benefits similar to those of forest bathing, such as promoting blood circulation and metabolism and calming the nerves.
